GUILDED YOUTH: When Aristocracy meets Anarchy |
| |
| |
Cultures clash and tables turn in the new Sassoon collection as the hoi polloi of the city streets storm the portals of the English aristocracy. Be dazzled by colors that are plucked from the morning dew of a country hedgerow or found in the dark green of the moss and purple heather of a bleak, damp moor. Rural England has been re-invigorated. The metropolitan chic of a short, sharp Sassoon haircut becomes a badge of English eccentricity when worn with posh-hunting pinks or the muted sage green of a Harris Tweed hacking jacket. Discover cuts that are a combination of soft graduation, rounded interior shapes and the long, foppish fringes of the typical English gent. Rich tradition and heritage are combined with Britain’s unique urban style to create a new look for a modern world. This is New Britannia! |

BE NICE. |
| |
| |
Mostly, it’s attitude and simply making a decision to be nice -- or not. But many people find it easier to whine, complain, or only be selectively nice. Too many people simply have bad manners, show no respect for others, fail to honor commitments or be on time for anything. They fear their needs won’t be met or that nice behavior towards others won’t be
reciprocated. Many of us are critical of others, competitive, egotistical. We’re stressed out and always in a hurry. But no one should be exempt from being nice. |
